Read below Nusfjord Arctic Resort terms and conditions
In general, if not otherwise agreed, the following rules apply.
These booking terms and conditions are the basis of your contract with Nusfjord Arctic Resort AS. In the following booking conditions, ‘you’ means the party leader/individual requesting the booking, and ‘we’ and ‘us’ means Nusfjord Arctic Resort. By acknowledging these terms and conditions, the client confirms he/she is authorized to make the booking on his/her own behalf and that of his/her party. Upon receipt of the fully completed booking process, we will issue a booking confirmation, which sets out arrangements.
2. Rate Guarantee
Once the booking is completed and accepted by the submission of the confirmation email to the address provided by you, the agreed price of the booking is fully guaranteed by us and will not be subject to any surcharge. Please refer to clause 9. of these terms and conditions for exceptions to our rate guarantee. N.B. The rate guarantee does not apply to invoice errors or government action.
3. Age restrictions
A booking is binding when it is confirmed and when you have received a booking number. This can be by word of mouth, in writing or by a booking made through our booking system. To book rooms in Nusfjord you must be 18 years or older. Unable to present proof of age at time of arrival gives us the right to cancel the reservation at full cost.
When the ordered rooms are for a minor (a person under 18 years of age), unaccompanied by an adult, the parent or guardian must present a confirmation on arrival at the hotel.
4. Arrival and departure
Check-in is from 15:00 on the day of arrival and checkout time is from 08:00 – 11:00 on departure day. If you wish to check out earlier, please let us know.
5. Cancellation, amendments and no show
5.1 Individual reservations
All cancellations and reductions, both for accommodation, meals, and activities, must be made in writing. The different deadlines depend on the size of the original signed confirmation and how much you want to change. Cancellation terms also apply to all Covid-related cancellation or reduction reasons, including travel bans or entry regulations to or from Norway. The hotel refers guests to travel insurance to collect any reimbursements related to the Covid pandemic.
Any cancellation or reduction must be made at least 7 days prior to your arrival unless otherwise agreed. If a cancellation is made less than 7 days before arrival, no refund will be made, and full reservation costs will be charged. Unless other arrangements are made and agreed in writing or other rate conditions apply to your reservation.
We will, whenever possible, try to accommodate any amendments you may request after the contract is formed. Amendment requests must be issued in writing to us by the party leader.
No shows will be charged in full.
5.2 Group bookings(10 people or more)
All cancellations and reductions, both for accommodation, meals, and activities, must be made in writing. Any cancellation or reduction must be made at least 60 days prior to your arrival unless otherwise agreed. Unless other arrangements are made and agreed upon in writing or other rate conditions, apply to your reservation.
We will whenever possible, try to accommodate any amendments you may request after the contract is formed. Amendment requests must be issued in writing to us by the party leader.
No-shows will be charged in full.
Participant list and program
No later than 30 days before the event, the hotel must receive the final alphabetical list of names, as well as program information with detailed agenda, including activities and meals.

6. Cancellation due to Illness
The hotel will charge the guest’s stay. The guest is advised to have their own valid travel cancellation insurance.
Our hotel accepts all major credit cards.
An invoice/voucher must be arranged in advance and agreed upon beforehand, and if necessary, an invoice can be sent.
8. Liability for damage
The person that makes the reservation is responsible for damage to people, buildings, furniture, etc. if caused by negligent or intentionally bad behavior. All our rooms are non-smoking.
Pets are not allowed at Nusfjord Arctic Resort.
Guests are advised that there is a penalty fee of NOK 2000 for cleaning a room that has been smoked in or has housed pets.
9. The hotel’s responsibilities
If the hotel cannot offer you a room as agreed, you are entitled, without additional costs, to get a similar room at the hotel or at a hotel of the same standard.
Before booking, please ensure that the hotel has the facilities you need.
10. Force Majeure
Unpredicted events (Force Majeure) (strikes, lockout, fire, lack of deliveries etc.) gives both parties the right to terminate the agreement without liability.
11. Right to Amend Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to unilaterally amend any of the provisions in these Terms and Conditions in a manner we may deem necessary, without prior notice.
