Fluid Flexibility: Release & Land

This class is a full-body release, designed to melt away tension through fluid movement, nerve flossing, and muscle activations. We’ll connect breath and motion, allowing the body to soften, awaken, and reset. Through smooth, wave-like transitions, we’ll open up space in the body while cultivating strength and ease.

As we move, we’ll tune into the breath as our anchor, creating a sense of landing—physically, mentally, and emotionally. This class is an opportunity to set an intention for the days ahead, moving with awareness and presence.

We’ll close with yin postures and breathwork, sealing in the practice with deep relaxation and clarity. Expect to walk away feeling fluid, open, and grounded.

Friday, May 2nd, 2025

Start the day with Fluid Flexibility: Water Flow session followed by a healthy breakfast. Following an outdoor adventure (hiking or a boat ride), enjoy a light lunch in the village. Following lunch, you will be led through a Backbending Workshop. The day ends with a dinner and relaxation at the Arctic Spa or in the comfort of your cabin.

Fluid Flexibility: Water Flow

Dive into a practice that moves like water—graceful, strong, and ever-flowing. This total-body flow class blends active flexibility, movement fluidity, and strength-building within yoga asana. Inspired by the element of water, we’ll explore seamless transitions, deep stretches, and powerful engagement of the core to support and stabilize the body.

Expect wave-like sequences that challenge your balance, enhance your mobility, and encourage a deeper connection to your breath. Suitable for all levels, this class will guide you through intelligent alignment, unlocking ease and freedom in your movement while cultivating inner and outer strength.

Backbending Workshop: Strength, Space & Softness + Yin

Backbends invite us to expand—not just physically, but in the way we breathe and move. They ask for both strength and surrender, grounding and lightness. In this workshop, we’ll explore that balance, working with the whole body to find more freedom in backbending.

Through breath-led exercises, we’ll loosen the front body, strengthen the back, and invite more freedom into the shoulders and chest. Expect a mix of movements that make you feel both grounded and lifted.

You might leave feeling energized, lighter, and maybe even a little taller. Over time, this practice helps create a sense of openness—not just in your spine, but in the way you move and breathe.

Satutday, May 3rd, 2025

Begin the day with Fluid Flexibility: Hamstring & Hip Flexor Release Flow followed by breakfast and an outdoor adventure. After lunch, relax or explore, then join the Inversion Workshop: Finding Strength, Balance & Playfulness + Yin Flow. The day ends with an aperitif by the lake and a 3-course dinner at Restaurant Karoline.

Fluid Flexibility: Hamstring & Hip Flexor Release

This class is designed to create space, softness, and freedom in your hamstrings and hip flexors—two areas that tend to hold tension, not just physically but emotionally. The hip flexors are deeply connected to our stress response, tightening when we feel overwhelmed, rushed, or in fight-or-flight mode. The hamstrings, often stiff from sitting or overuse, can limit our fluidity in movement.

Through slow, juicy, and dynamic movements, we’ll flow in a way that gently unravels these tensions, allowing the breath to guide us into deeper release. Expect a sequence that blends deep stretches with active flexibility, helping you build both openness and strength. This isn’t about forcing or pushing—it’s about feeling, softening, and allowing your body to move with more ease.

Inversion Workshop: Finding Strength, Balance & Playfulness + Yin

Going upside down is more than just a physical challenge—it’s a shift in perspective, a dance between strength and surrender. In this inversion workshop, we’ll explore the foundations of going upside down with confidence, building the strength, alignment, and control needed to access poses like headstands, forearm stands, and handstands.

Through drills, mobility work, and playful techniques, you’ll learn how to engage the right muscles, find stability in the air, and trust yourself in the process. Whether you’re a beginner looking to overcome fear or refining your inversion practice, this workshop will meet you where you are.

Learning to go upside down can feel exhilarating—there’s a mix of excitement, fear, and freedom all at once. It challenges you to let go of hesitation, connect deeply with your body, and discover a lightness you didn’t know existed. There’s something incredibly empowering about defying gravity, feeling weightless for just a moment, and realizing that with patience and practice, what once seemed impossible becomes second nature.

To bring balance after the effort, we’ll close with a grounding Yin and breathwork session—allowing the body to soften, the nervous system to reset, and the mind to settle. This slow, deep practice will complement the strength work, creating a perfect blend of effort and ease, fire and flow.

Come ready to flip your perspective, embrace the wobbles, and play with the art of balancing on your hands.

Sunday, May 4th, 2025

Conclude the retreat with a final Fluid Flexibility Flow – Hips Focus session, followed by a delicious breakfast before departure.

Fluid Flexibility Flow – Hips Focus

The hips are a gateway to fluid, unrestricted movement, connecting our foundation to our freedom. In this flow, we’ll explore circularity, depth, and intentional motion—allowing flexibility and strength to meet in perfect balance. Through dynamic stretches, active mobility, and seamless transitions, we’ll create space, ease, and a sense of release in the hips.

Our movements will be both grounded and fluid, embracing softness without losing stability. This class is an invitation to move with awareness, surrender to the rhythm of your breath, and feel the openness that comes when we allow rather than force.
