Want to experience crab fishing? Visit Nusfjord and join our captain in the fishing boat to catch crab!
Nusfjord is Norway’s oldest and best-preserved fishing village, where they say that time has stood still. Our beautiful and traditional fishermen’s cabins «rorbuer» are authentic and modern, so you can truly experience how the fishermen lived in the past. Wake up to the sound of the sea hitting the wood and breathe in the fresh air from the sea.
The package includes accommodation for two people in one of our rorbuer, breakfast on both days, and access to the hot tub and sauna during your stay. On the first day you arrive, you go out with the captain to set the crab traps, and the next day you go out again to pick them up. Each boat trip takes approximately one hour, and after the crab stones have been pulled up, we boil the crabs, so they are ready for the evening dinner at Restaurant Karoline.
